What we do
Beach Cleaning Trips
We clean beaches as often as possible, to help the marine life there. Cleaning beaches removes junk from mudflats to help shore animals and plant. Also, most junk that is on the beach will 99% of the time end up in the water.
Adoption of a bay
We chose to adopt the Chesapeake bay in Maryland. It is polluted, and in some areas you aren't even allowed to swim in it! We will track pollution data, do beach cleaning days (or support the people who do them since we are in Maine), and make aware the level of pollution in the area.
Adoption of a species
We cannot actually adopt a creature and keep it, so we are going to do a survey. We will tell people why, and they can tell us an endangered animal we should adopt. Please leave your answer in the "Contact us" section (it is at the bottom of the home page).
